Short Path & Wiped Film Distillation

The distillation of heat sensitive and high boiling mixtures is complicated by the high temperatures to which such materials must be exposed. In wiped film and short path distillation, the separation, purification, or concentration of heat sensitive materials occurs under vacuum, at residence times greatly reduced compared to conventional methods.
