Thermaflo® J is a high-performance synthetic heat transfer fluid composed of diethylbenzene isomers, an alkylated aromatic compound specially engineered for demanding low-temperature applications. This fluid excels in liquid phase pressurized systems requiring both heating and cooling capabilities, offering outstanding low-temperature pumpability down to -78°C (-108°F) while maintaining excellent thermal stability to protect against accidental overheating.

  • Exceptional Low-Temperature Performance: Operates efficiently in liquid phase from -80°C to 315°C (-110°F to 600°F), with pumpability maintained at extremely low temperatures.
  • Dual-Phase Capability: Can also be used in vapor phase systems operating from 180°C to 315°C (358°F to 600°F).
  • Superior Thermal Stability: Provides excellent protection against accidental overheating with stable performance across the entire temperature range.
  • Single-Fluid Solution: Ideal for batch processing applications, eliminating system flush requirements associated with steam-brine or steam-glycol systems.
