Product Description

Thermaflo® Q is a reutilized synthetic heat transfer fluid formulated from a blend of diphenylethane and alkylated aromatics. Engineered as a high-performance replacement for conventional mineral-based hot oils, this fluid delivers superior thermal stability at elevated temperatures while maintaining exceptional flowability in cold conditions. Its balanced formulation makes it particularly well-suited for non-pressurized and low-pressure indirect heating systems where consistent, uniform process heat is essential.
- Enhanced Thermal Stability: Outperforms traditional hot oils at temperatures above 260°C (500°F), reducing thermal degradation and extending service intervals.
- Superior Cold-Weather Performance: Maintains pumpability down to -45°C (-50°F), eliminating cold start-up concerns common with mineral oils.
- Improved Heat Transfer Efficiency: Low viscosity throughout the operating range delivers higher film coefficients than conventional hot oils, enabling more compact system designs.
- System Compatibility: Non-corrosive to common metals and alloys used in heat transfer equipment construction.
