Description
Polyflo® 200 is a premium high-viscosity aromatic process oil characterized as a C11-C30 mixture of aromatic hydrocarbons specifically formulated for use as a secondary plasticizer and extender oil in polymer processing applications. As the highest viscosity grade in the Polyflo aromatic process oil line, Polyflo® 200 (225 cSt maximum @ 40°C) delivers maximum plasticizer retention and minimum migration for applications where long-term compound stability and permanence are critical. This heavy aromatic oil provides excellent compatibility and solvency with polar polymers including flexible PVC, polyurethane elastomers, natural and synthetic rubbers, and epoxy systems. The high molecular weight distribution associated with the elevated viscosity results in reduced volatility during processing and extended service life in finished products, making Polyflo® 200 the grade of choice for demanding applications where plasticizer loss over time must be minimized.
- Highest Viscosity Grade: 225 cSt maximum @ 40°C—the heaviest grade in the Polyflo line for maximum plasticizer retention and minimum migration.
- Superior Permanence: High molecular weight distribution provides reduced volatility and extended plasticizer life in finished compounds.
- Excellent Polymer Compatibility: C11-C30 aromatic composition delivers strong solvency and compatibility with polar polymers including PVC, polyurethanes, and rubber.
- Long-Term Stability: Ideal for applications requiring sustained flexibility and minimal plasticizer loss over extended service life.
